Cross stitched card with a wood embellishment

Hello Unique Laser Designs fans! This is Maya and today I am going to share a cross stitched card with a wood embellishment.

I used a piece of aida cloth to cross stitch "thank you" and make a simple stitched edge. That made a perfect canvas for the beautiful Cherry Blossom branch that I colored with Fabel-Castell Big Brush markers.

I added a little liquid glue to the back side of the branch and secured it with few stitches.

I love how versatile the wood embellishments are! Literally, they can be added to any type of craft. I hope I inspired you to try something different. Thank you for stopping by!
