Pocket scrapbooking with Unique Laser Designs

Hello Unique Laser Designs fan! This is Maya and today I am going to share a layout I made using so popular pocket page protectors.

The second I spotted these adorable dinosaurs on Unique Laser Designs page I knew I have to make a layout with the pictures from the dinosaur exhibit. I had quite a few photos from our visit to the exhibit but I didn't want to make a mini album. Pocket pages to the rescue.

I slipped the photos into the pockets and added few pieces of dinosaurs themed patterned paper that I had in my stash forever.  Now it was the time to the fun part.

I mixed yellow, brown and green acrylic paint with sparkle texture medium and painted the dinosaurs. After the paint was dry I cleaned the clogged holes in the shapes and misted everything with gold mist.

I added the dinosaurs to the outside of the page protectors using liquid paper adhesive.

They look great and they are just the perfect embellishment for my layout.

I was able to tell a story with very little but carefully selected product.

Thank you for stopping by today. Hope I inspired you to try different things and not to be afraid mixing old papers with new embellishments.
