Couture Hanging Tag

Hello to all of you!

     I am sharing my first project that I have made for Unique Laser Designs.  I was going for glitz and glamour since I decided to pair the ULD frame with the Couture collection.  The frame is called Fran and can be found here.

     I first painted the frame with two coats of black gesso.  Next I applied several layers of ultra think embossing enamel (UTEE).  When the UTEE layers had enough shine and depth, I sprinkled metallic blue glitter finish embossing powder with my fingers.  Finally I added a few glass beads to the upper right portion of the frame.

     The frame became a hanging tag when I attached the dangling beads and then the chain with jump rings glued to the frame.  Frames are such a fun and versatile craft item.  They can become a project on their own.
