We received our very first snow storm of the season on Thanksgiving Day this past week! It was AMAZING! I was able to capture a fantasic photo of my daughter trying to eat the incredibly chunky morsels of ice. I decided to preserve the memory in my pocket scrapbooking album by creating a shaker journal card with Unique Laser Design's snowflake embellishments. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!
"SNOW!" Pocket Scrapbooking Shaker Journal Card |
Okay, let's do this:
Printed my Instagram photo & grabbed this 4x6 woodgrain patterned scrapbooking paper from my stash. |
Adhered the IG photo to the journal card with Uhu glue. |
Messy stamped this text background on the journal card. |
Distressed the journal card edges with black archival ink. |
Doodled around the photo with a black Signo Uni-ball (broad) pen. |
Stamped this Dylusions tag on the journal card with black archival ink. |
Stamped this Ali Edward's sentiment directly on the photo using black StazOn ink. |
Added blue Thickers for my title. |
Added messy date stamps with archival ink and journaled with my black Signo Uni-Ball (broad) ink pen. |
Doodled around the title with a black Signo Uni-ball (broad) pen. |
Added details to the doodles around the photos using a 'Fire Red" Montana paint pen. |
Doodled around the title with silver & clear Gelli Roll pens. |
Unique Laser Design's MDF & acrylic snowflake embellishments. |
Pulled some sequins (aqua & silver) and faux snowflakes from my stash. |
