Believe in Yourself Canvas

Hello ULD fans, Michelle here with a fun uplifting wall canvas featuring some great laser cut pieces from Unique Laser Designs.

 

This piece features the hot air balloon, clouds and the cutout Believe in Yourself.

 

I used my prisma colored pencils to color all the ULD pieces.  Here's a close up of one of the clouds.

 

I love this hot air balloon, so many options for how you could use this.

 

And this turned out a bit more patriotic than I planned but it is almost the forth of July!  Again I used colored pencils to color this piece.

Believe In Yourself Canvas

Jamie here with you today with another canvas using Unique Laser Designs embellishments. Ready to find out how I pulled it all together? Well, let's get started.

First off, I painted the entire canvas with brown acrylic paint.

Once the paint was completely dry, I took a page from a dictionary and painted it with pink acrylic paint, then adhered it to the canvas. Next I added an acrylic strip across the dictionary page.

Then, I layered on some lace and flower trim.

Setting the canvas aside for a minute, I started working on the embellishments.  I heat embossed the tree using multiple colors of embossing powder.

Then I layered the heart on the canvas. I also added some flowers on the tree and paint dots around the outer edges of the canvas.

Lastly, I added the sentiment, which was colored with Perfect Pearls.

A very quick canvas with stunning results.

Additional embellishments not needed.. I have ULD!

One of my favorite things about using the Unique Laser Designs wood embellishments on my projects is that I really don't need to add more embellishments.  The wood designs can stand alone and can finish off any project. 

Here are just a few projects where I really just added a coat of paint and let the Laser Designs stand alone as my embellishments.. after all Unique Laser Designs says... Embellishments are their business..

I used a saying: Believe in Yourself and a
 heart that came with the heart puzzle, 2 cute ULD
images that worked great together.

Here is my canvas layout where I only used ULD as my
embellishments. 

A dress form and 3 stars.. finished off these 2 pennants.
